DEREK: Since we arrived at the bar, she hasn’t said a word to me. And neither did I push to ignite a conversation as much as I want to. She is still devastated about the event that occurred this afternoon. I wish I knew what actually made her this way in most sense. At least I would be able to find the right way to console her should the need be. I watch as she tightens her grip on her glass of liquor. The glass is still the same way since I ordered the liquor for her and I don’t think she will be making a move to sip from it anytime soon. As for me, I was almost done with my shot, already intending to get the bartender to fill my glass with another round. A sigh from her makes me focus on her again about a minute after I took my eyes off. She is still lost in thoughts when I do so and
