The shock on my mother's face was the last thing imprinted during the discussion I had with her three days ago in the pack hospital.
Yesterday, I forcefully got myself discharged from the pack hospital much to the disapproval of Dr. Annette. But there was nothing she could do about it because I was always adamant about things I wanted. It was worse that I had to spend a few days in a place that I didn't even want to be at all.
Just to avoid any lecture from my parents and the possible order to go back to the pack hospital for full recovery, I decided not to head to the Alpha quarters to stay.
