Chapter 84

1646 Words

LAYLA: I start to move back slowly as soon as I hear the loud footsteps from outside that I was certain were headed toward my room. My heart suddenly grew tensed, the rate increasing rapidly coupled with a disarrayed mind. The footsteps stop. And it only makes it worse for me because I could now sense that whoever it is that had the steps was standing in front of the room now. The pressure that exudes into the room changed the whole atmosphere instantly for me. I grip the edge of the head bunk of the bed, praying silently that it was not who I think it is. Although there was no denying that it would be him because no one had this kind of pressure over me. Not even the warriors that acted like they were tough heads. I close my eyes as soon as I hear the door being unbolted from outside.
