I was the first one to leave the meeting.
The moment the doors opened, I stormed out without looking back. The other Alphas had the sense to stay out of my way they’d seen the look on my face, the kind of fury that begged for a reason to snap. I’d been wound tight through the entire discussion, my patience hanging by a single frayed thread. One more stupid question and someone would’ve ended up on the floor.
Not one of them deserved their rank, and they knew it.
