It felt good to finally hold a little power between us.
Of course, I knew he was still the one in control. He was my Alpha he owned me in every way that mattered. But what kind of fake mate would I be if I didn’t bring him to his knees every now and then? If he wanted to keep toying with me, then I was damn sure going to have my own fun, too.
I felt a flicker of guilt about Lysandra, but she had to know what was happening between us. There was no hiding the truth. She would’ve smelled me on him and him on me. We hadn’t exactly been discreet in front of the pack there had been plenty of touches, stolen kisses, the occasional bold caress that had definitely crossed into territorial territory.
