“Alpha,” I murmured, my voice soft but charged, the word sliding from my lips like a challenge. I didn’t dare glance between us, but I didn’t need to I could feel the heat radiating from him, could sense the way his beast prowled just beneath the surface. The green in his eyes had begun to swirl with black, hunger darkening the edges.
“You’re playing a dangerous game,” he warned, his grip tightening around my hips until he could drag me closer, his hands sliding down to cup the bare curve of my ass.
A smile tugged at my mouth. “Hmm, but I’m having so much fun.”
I leaned in, catching his bottom lip gently between my teeth, tugging just enough to taste him before releasing it. My lips brushed the corner of his mouth as I shifted, letting my cheek graze along his stubbled jaw.
