Lorien POV Even I wasn’t naïve enough to think it would all unfold that easily. If the Fae had held a grudge strong enough to curse an entire pack for decades, why would they suddenly lift it after a single meeting? No one did something like that without a hidden agenda. Either they were plotting something or, by some miracle, they wanted peace as much as we did. “That soon? Don’t you think that’s a bit risky?” The words slipped out before I could stop them, my head shaking in disbelief. I wasn’t ready for this.
