Lorien POV I went back to our room, hoping to find another pair of shoes that might go better with my dress. When I came up empty-handed, I silently cursed myself for not buying more clothes during my last trip out with Olyssia. Things between us were still tense, and though her suspicion about my relationship with Auren was understandable since it wasn’t exactly real her constant scrutiny made it nearly impossible to grow closer to her.
