Lorien’s POV Auren’s gaze locked with mine for a brief moment before sliding down to the dress I was wearing. His lips twisted in visible displeasure. “That’s not” he began, but Olyssia quickly interrupted. “No,” she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument. “We all agreed that the colors she’s been trying on might not suit her. Althea was just bringing out a few new options.” I shot Olyssia a grateful look. At least someone was on my side.
