12 RAFAZThe human was messing with my head. She was so confusing. I thought we’d broken her, yet there she was, talking about all sorts of animals I’d never heard of. Vuk had fetched clothes and some more food for all of us, so now we were camped out in the nest we’d built for her. I couldn’t take my eyes off Wren.
