HILAn idea formed in one of our brains. It was always hard to figure out in which one the seed of inspiration sprouted, since all nine of our brains were connected and constantly shared information.
The idea was good. With a bit of refinement, it would become brilliant. There wasn’t much time though. The ship was in danger and with it, our new crew.
The captain’s mind shone brightly within the bridge. Her four males each had a different mental footprint, but they were all connected to her by fragile yet growing threads. Soon, they’d be inseparable. The way her mind clung to the males’ threads was unique. We’d lived for a long time, but this was new. It was more than simple affection.
