EPILOGUE
THREE MONTHS LATER
The Hydra was flying smoothly, even though it was me piloting it. Hil had been giving me extra lessons, so now I was able to fly our ship without the help of the kalitrys or my guys. Or even the autopilot system.
Flying was fun. I loved to feel the rush of adrenaline when I made an especially daring manoeuvre - usually followed by Vuk telling me off for it. He didn't like it when I made the ship lurch. Luckily, the other three supported me in doing as many crazy manoeuvres as I wanted to. And to be honest, I kind of enjoyed watching Vuk cling to his chair with a look of panic on his face.
