“Why are you interested in feeding the strays?” Ella asked Anthony as they were walking through the small alley where some feral cat colonies like to stay.
“It sounds fun. I’ve heard Patrick talking about doing it with you before.” Anthony answered, shrugging, while he had a bag of cat food in his right hand.
“He told you about that before?” Ella asked, her voice ripping with amused surprise. “It wasn’t like he really wanted to do it. We talked about getting him with Jasmine the whole time.” She snickered.
“I personally like animals, but I think you’re way more natural in handling them,” Anthony gave her a smirk.
“Huh. That’s new. I think you’re the first person who went on a feeding session with me who actually likes animals himself.” Ella looked up at him in awe.
