Ella’s world stopped when she heard those words from her uncle. She stood in the porch, unmoving, still clutching her bag she had the whole day, as she watched her other bags be pushed towards her.
“U-uncle, why are you doing this? Is there anything I have done? Is it because I went out today? I swear I just went to the testing center today…”
Jaime just shook his head and continued shoving her bags towards her. “You turn 18 today, right?”
