Life as an Alpha

John's POV

    Spending the last week with Erin trying to figure out how we were going to stay together, even if her parents hated me for no reason. I'm leaving tomorrow to go take over the pack from my dad and become alpha, but I don't want to do it unless she is beside me and my luna.While I'm packing my thing's I hear Erin come in.

"Hey baby, what are you doing?"

"I was coming to see if you needed help and to ask what time you were leaving tomorrow?"

    I looked at her scared to tell her I was leaving first thing in the morning, but I just smiled and hugged her. When I looked down she was crying. My shirt was wet with mascara stains on my chest. I grabbed her face and kissed her.

"Why are you crying baby?"

"I....don't....want...you...to leave me."

"Baby I'm not leaving you I'm taking my rightful position and yours is to be my luna. So come with me please."

    I begged so hard wanting her to know that I wanted her by my side. I don't want to leave her in fact I want the opposite I want her to come with me and help me lead our pack. I want to marry her and eventually raise a family together. She looked at me and smiled then she took off out the door. I don't know whether to be scared or happy. I guess I'll find out in the morning if she is there to go with me or if she is there to say goodbye.

***** Later in Erin's room*****

Erin's POV

    I was sitting on my bed looking at my thing wondering if I should pack and go with him. My parents would be pissed at me for going and becoming the luna to our enemy pack. On the other had they should be happy I found my mate and can take my place as queen. While I was sitting there thinking my two best friends Alice and Cassie came in.

    "Hey earth to Erin.... you in there."

"Yes Alice I was just thinking. What are you two up to"

"Cassie said something about John leaving in the morning we were coming to make sure you are ok."

"And we were wondering if you were going with him."

    Cassie smiled at me and I just looked down and wanted to start crying again. Alice came up to me and hugged me tight.

    "Thank you girls for coming to check on me but I'm not sure what I should do. Should I go or shouldn't I go?"

"That's only a question you can ask but if you need help packing when you figure it out let us know okay. we don't plan on going anywhere till you make up your mind or tell us to leave."

"Can yall help me pack. He is my mate and I want to marry him."

"Yeah we can help you pack."

    So we spent the next two hours packing up all of my belongings. It seems like not to long ago I was doing the same thing at my parent's house to come to school. By the time we were done it was past midnight and dinner was way past due. We went to the cafeteria to see what was left from dinner since non of us came to get any. When we got our food we went to the dorm and ate. We finally said our good nights when we finished eating and went to bed since I had to be up in a couple of hours.

******Next morning*******

John's POV

    My alarm went off and Tim threw his pillow at me so I would get up. I realized today is the day I go home and become alpha of my dad's pack. I walk to the bathroom and take a quick shower. I get out on do my regular morning routine. I walk out the bathroom grab my bag and tell Tim goodbye. When I make it out the dorm and to the front of the school where my car is waiting, I see Erin standing there facing the other direction talking to the girls. I was nervous wondering if she was going with me or just coming to say goodbye. I walk closer and I see a bag next to her.My heart started jumping for joy thanking the goddess for giving us a mate like her.

    "Hey baby are you ready to go."

I looked at her in surprise and the next thing I know the girls are laughing hysterically at my face.

"Baby are you ok?"

"Yeah sorry I'm just surprised you showed and are coming with me. I wasn't to sure after you left last night without a word."

"Well I'm here and ready to go meet your family and our pack."

"Alpha it's time to go we have a long ride. Luna can I take your bag."

    The car driver took her bag and put it in the car and we hopped in the back seat after we said our goodbyes and gave hugs.Next stop home.
