The Next Morning

JOHN'S POV

    The next morning I woke up to a beautiful smiling face. She was absolutely amazing last night. I smiled back at her and kissed her forehead. She blushed and tucked her head under the blanket.

"Good morning, beautiful. How'd you sleep"

"That was the best sleep I've ever had"

"That's good to hear. Well I'm going to get in the shower you can join me if you'd like. I promise no funny business if you do."

"I think I'll get wait and plus my body is so sore from last night that I could probably use a nice hot bath instead."

"Okay beautiful if that's what you want that's fine with me."

    I walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When I got out I ran some nice hot bath water for Erin and placed some lavender scented bath salts in it so she could relax. I went to the room and picked her bridal style and placed her in the bath while i went to the room to get dressed for class.

ERIN'S POV

    He left me in here to relax, but I couldn't stop thinking about how I was going to tell my parents that my mate was from our enemy pack. I realized last night after John had passed out that his pack crest was on his night stand. I hopped out of the bath a wrapped the towel around me before I walked into his room. He wasn't there but there was food and clothes on his bed along with a note the said:

Beautiful I went for a run to clear my head I'll be back soon. Relax and eat something when I get back we can talk about everything I promise. Love always John

    I put on the clothes and started eating some pancakes. When i was done eating I laid down on his pillow and dozed off waiting for him to get back.

    I didn't realize how much time had passed while I was asleep till John woke me up. It was already dark  outside when he woke me up.

"Hey beautiful did you have a good nap?"

"Yes, I did. When did you get back?"

"I got back a couple of hours ago, but I didn't want to wake you because you looked so peaceful."

"Thank you, but I have one question that I'm scared to ask."

"What is it? I'll tell you anything you want to know."

"Okay, Are you the next alpha for the notorious  Blood moon pack?"

"Yes I am. I had a feeling you were worried about that. To clear the air I'm nothing like my father and his father before him. I also know that my pack and the royal pack have problems and I wanted to fix that when I became alpha but then i found out I was the princess's mate. How convenient for me and the pack but i wasn't going to use you to get in the good graces of your parents. I want to work back the king's trust"

"That's good to hear, but that isn't the hardest part. The hardest part is telling our parents that we are mates."

    After I said that we sat there quietly for what seemed like forever until Tim knocked on the door. He smiled at me when he came in to get some clothes. He didn't stay long. John and I didn't talk for the rest of the night. It felt so weird but we managed to lay there and watch movies till we dozed off to sleep.
