Becoming Luna

Erin's POV

    When we arrived at his pack house there were two people standing on the front steps waiting on us to get there. John looked nervous, he had sweat running down his face. He is so hot when hes nervous. The driver comes around and opens the door for us to get out of the car. John gets out first and helps me out and then im bombarded with a tight hug.

    "Mom let Erin breath please. She just got here and your already trying to kill her."

    "I am not. I would never try and kill your mate my dear boy."

    "John that is no way to talk to your mother. How are you feeling son? how was the ride and do her parent's know she is here with you?"

    "One question at a time dad. The ride was fine and I'm feeling nervous about becoming alpha."

    "Sir my parent's do not know I am here. This was my decision and mine alone. I don't want to lose the one and only mate we get, so I decided I would take my chances and come here with him."

    "Well that's a decision only a luna can make. Thank you for coming my dear you will love the pack and they will love you."

    "By the way my name is Sue and this is Kurt we of course as you could probably tell are John's parent's."

    "Nice to meet ya'll I'm Erin."

    We walk inside and sit at the dinning room table for dinner and talk for what felt like hours before John and I went up to his room, well I guess you would call it our room now. I took out some clothes and went to the bathroom to shower. While I was getting the water turned on and set to the right temperature John walks in and wraps his arms around my waist. It feels so good to have him so close to me. He nibbles my ear then starts kissing down my neck to the spot where his mark will be placed once we finish the mating process.

    He watches me strip down to nothing a hop into the shower. He looks like he is thinking about getting in the shower with me, But he waits till I'm done and he takes one by himself. I go to the room lay on the bed and doze off. The next morning John wakes me up and tells me to get ready for training.I go to the training field with him and we start warming up. The warriors were surprised to see a new female out on the training field with them. I introduced myself to a few of them and then we started scrimmaging. I got put with on of their best female fighters her name was Jenny. After getting through training we ran back to the pack house and got ready for breakfast with the pack.

    At breakfast it was quiet I met the beta and found out that Jenny is the beta female. Her mates name is Caleb. Tonight is the ceremony for me to Become Luna and for John to Become Alpha.

**********Hours Later*************

    "Erin do you want help getting ready for tonight? My sister, Jenny, and my mom can help you."

    "Babe thats fine they can come help me. It would be nice to have help with getting ready for such a big and important ceremony."

    "Okay, I will let them know and I will see you when the ceremony starts. I love you."

    "Thank you, and I love you too"

    A few minutes later his mom and Jenny enter the room with bags of stuff. Then Cassie comes in with a big grin on her face. I'm so glad to see her. Since I have already taken my shower they start pulling out makeup and dresses to wear for tonight.

    "Erin dear what is your favorite color?"

    "My favorite color Mrs.Sue is blue."

    "Oh honey you can call me mom and good cause I have just the dress for you to wear tonight."

I look at her and she pulls a royal blue dress out of the bag she had. It is floor length mermaid gown with rhinestones at the top. It is also strapless. They help me into it and it fits perfectly. Cassie starts on my makeup and Jenny dose my hair. When they are done they get ready and we all look stunning. Sue is crying happy tears I hope and the girls and just smiling like Cheshire cats. There is a knock on the door and it's John's brother Tim.

    "Are you ladies ready?"

    "Yes we are ready"

    We start walking out the door and down the stairs to the backdoor. The backyard has a stage set up and a lot of chairs set up around it. Everyone walks out before me and Sue since she is luna and she will be transferring the title to me in just a few minutes. Sue walks to the stage then I walk right behind her. John is standing on the stage smiling at me. I feel nervous up till I get up there with him.

    "A pack is a family and a family has two leaders that keep them in line. Today we transfer our titles to the two in line for them. John and Erin do you both agree to respect each other and the pack for better or worse." Kurt says

    "I do" we say in unison

    "Then by the power given to me by the moon goddess after i cut your palms and you join hands you will be the Alpha and Luna."

    He slices the palms of our hands and as we join hands I can feel all the links to the pack coming through welcoming me. I feel at home finally and now I have a family not just a kingdom to run eventually.
