Life in The Pack

John POV
We've been in my pack for about a month now and Erin is doing well as the Luna. Everyone loves her and I enjoy watching her work with everyone. Its been really quiet since the first week here when her parent's called and tried to get her to leave me but she told them no and that she would take her position by my side and still take her position as queen. They didn't like it that much but finally agreed with her decision. But I say its quiet and something might happen just like it always does.
I'm in my office working on some financial paper work for the pack when I get a link from my beta Chris, "Alpha breach a the north border. A single rouge saying they need to speak to the queen." I get up and walk through the house to the front yard. As I'm doing this i link my beta back and tell him to bring me the rouge. When I get down the stairs I see Chris walking out of the woods in shorts and a female walking beside him.
"What do you want?" I ask the rouge beside Chris.
"Sir I need to speak to the queen it is urgent. Please!" I'm standing here thinking about how I let them know that no one here is the queen, But in my gut I know they are talking about Erin. So I link Erin to come out front for a minute because someone needs to talk to her.
Erin POV
I walk out side like john asks me to do. I see Chris our beta and a woman that looks familiar. I think she is for my mom and dad's pack. I walk next to john and that's when I recognize the woman in front of me. Its Susan my personally maid from my mom and dad's pack.
"Susan what are you doing here? Why do you look upset?"
"My queen your parents are dead they were attacked by a group of rouges and hunters. That makes you queen and your people need you more now than ever." I feel like I want to just fall over but john has already wrapped his arms around me to hold me up. I look at Susan and start balling. Thinking to myself what do I do now. Before I know it I see nothing but black.
John POV
She just goes limp in my arms. I link the pack doctor and tell him to meet me in our room in the pack house. The doctor wouldn't let me in the room with her. Dr. James comes out twenty minuets later, " Alpha she is in a coma. I have her hooked up to all the necessary medical equipment to keep an eye on her. I must worn you that we have no clue when she could come out of this."
I look at him and thank him. I go to her room and sit beside her bed. She looks so peaceful, I wish I could know how she feels. She just lost her parent's and now I might lose her. What will the kingdom do without there king and queen. Everything is going to be chaotic.
********* 1 Month Later ************
Erin POV
It's been really dark for a while now and I don't know why , but I feel so strange like I'm getting stronger and like my wolf is getting stronger. I still cant believe my mom and dad have passed away. I just want this to go away. Maybe I should wake up and take my place as queen. I can since John beside me. It feels like he's holding my hand but I'm not sure.
I start hearing a heart monitor. That must mean that I'm in the hospital, but why what happened? I try to open my eyes, but they are extremely heavy. "Baby I need you to wake up please. I miss you. We all need you here. Please come back to me." John said to me. I twitched my hand to show him I could hear him. He grabs it and squeezes it.
I finally start opening my eyes and I smile when the first thing I see is his magnificent face. "Hi....m-my ba-by." "Here drink some water baby it will help. you've been in a coma for a month now. How are you feeling?" " I feel fine, but did you just say I was out for a month?" "Yes Erin you were out for a month. I'm going to get the doctor, I'll be right back." As he leaves the room what he just said starts sink in. That means my parent's have been dead for a month and the kingdom has no one to take over. As i'm thinking about everything the doctor and john come back in. "Hi Luna how are you feeling? Your vitals look good oh and by the way we found out you were pregnant when you went into your coma. So we need to check on the little one." I look at both of them and I'm sure there is a look of surprise on my face. I had no clue I was pregnant and to find out now that is crazy.
"Yes can we see the baby and will we find out what we are having?"
"Actually yes we should be able to find out the gender today let me go get a ultrasound machine and I'll be right back."
I look at John and smile. "Are you happy baby. I'm so glad we are having a baby." " Me too, I cant wait to see what we are having.
