Kurauone

237 Words
Kurauone, my friend, shine whilst you can. Because when you grow you become a prisoner of your own emotions, constantly fighting to find inner peace. Kurauone, when you grow up you become an unemployed graduate, financial strains haunt you and your parents want you out of the house. Kurauone, when you grow up you start reflecting on your childhood, questioning your cultural values and beliefs and constantly asking yourself why you were in such a hurry to grow up. Kurauone, you will try to find your place in the world and in doing so, you will try and fit in. Drugs and booty calls are what the cool kids will be doing and they will persuade you to join using all sorts of slander and stray words. You will learn that your friends and family can become scarce in your darkest times, and people will take advantage of your situation, but Pray Kurauone, never give up. But one day the sun will shine brighter than you ever imagined. There are times you will feel lost, Kurauone, alone, and abandoned, but you will pull through. Kurauone, my friend, I will always be there for you to listen and comfort you in your lowest times because I am you and you are me. Remember these words whenever you feel like giving up Kurauone, “collide or fail, for times of uncertainty shall befall us all.” Yours Ndakura Ndaona.
