One complete week has passed since that stupid Diwali party. I haven't interacted so much with Kaira ever since that day after our pancake breakfast I drove her home.

I was sitting in my office checking some files but I couldn't really concentrate my mind was drifting to Kaira. I have been thinking a lot about her since that day and I really need to stop.

I was taken out of my thoughts by a ring on my telecon. It was my secretary she was taking the day off. Frowning I picked it up. I heard a familiar voice. It was my mortal enemy when I was working with the mafias.

"hello" he spoke

"did you miss me" he added and then chuckled in a evil manner

"no" I responded in a cold tone

"ohh! That makes me sad"

"couldn't care less"

"anyway, may i come in?" with that he entered into my cabin

"sit down, make yourself at home. I saw you with a girl after some party at your office last week. Wouldn't you introduce me?"

"stay away from her you i***t!"

"ohh I am hurt" he said in a moking manner

"what do you want?"

"you know what I want" his expression turned deadly.

Without answering I placed the g*n on his forehead, pulling the safety off.

We were interpreted by a sudden knock. I ignored it.

"stay away I am not joining you anymore"

There was knock again. I ignored it again focusing on the person sitting in front of me.

"so where were we" he said.

Suddenly the door is opened revealing Kaira with a bouquet and cake.

"ohh it's her" he exclaimed. Kaira gave me a confused look. My g*n still pointing towards his head.

Ailan made eye contact with a person outside the cabin. And i shouted "KAIRA RUN!!!" with that she started running towards the exit dropping the cake and the bouquet behind.

Why out of all the people in this office its her? Why?

"Aren't you gonna run after her or something?" Ailan says in a joking manner and walked out of the office.

As soon as he leaves I take my car keys and run in the garage. Took a look at my car and at last went for my bike. It was new and try at work also it would be easier to find her on a bike.

I got on my bike and rushed towards the direction I saw Kaira running. After driving for about few minutes I found her being cornered, she saw so much.

Without a single thought I took my g*n and shot the guy running after her right on his head. She screamed seeing the blood pouring out of his head. I saw her shivering figure and went to her, wrapping my arms around her.

She was tensed at first but started crying after a while burying her head in my chest.

After ten minutes of crying she was no more trembling. She put her hands on my chest pushing me away. I stepped back looking down at her. Atleast she looked better than before.

"calm down I won't kill you" I tried joking although it turned out to be the worse because she looked at me fear evident in her.

I can't believe she was scared of me after I just saved her.

"explain" was the only thing she said after staring me for sometime.

"before all of this being CEO and everything. I was part of a mafia, kinda leader of a mafia g**g and those people were my enemies. That's all you need to know. Now get to my car I'll drop you home" completely forgetting I decided not to bring my car.

I turned around to be faced by a bike. A bike. My bike. Kaira looked at it for a moment before she gave me questioning look. "I forgot " was all I said.

Not wanting to embrass myself anymore. I hopped on the bike after which she also sat. "directions?" I said and she told me the way to her house which was really very far. Sarcasm noted!

We reached there in about twenty minutes. I smiled thinking about that night "very far, huh?" I joked she looked at me probably she didn't remember anything "come, live with me. He knows about you. It's not safe for you to live here anymore. I think one week might be enough for you pack for your stuff? Just the essentials" she nodded.

I nodded too, waved her goodbye and went to my house.

I opened my main door and I was greeted by my house which was well really dirty. Things were anywhere and everywhere. I went and checked the guest room. Atleast that was clean.

I will clean it all after watching a movie and also Kaira will come in a week. I have plenty of time to clean.

Should I get it decorated for her. Yeah! Probably Arjun will do that for me.

I played a movie and fell asleep while watching it.
