A loud screeching ring tone resounded through my bed chambers jolting me awake. I groaned in irritation. I lazily rolled over to answer it but by the time I reached my end table it had gone to voicemail. I sighed and squinted at the contact’s name. I frowned and scoffed seeing Colt had called me. I had been waiting for much too long for information from him that I thought I was swindled. It seems I was wrong. I looked at the clock on the wall and sighed knowing I was going to hear hell for sleeping during the night again.
