It seemed I got lucky every day. Fate was with me in stopping the arranged marriage from happening. Yesterday, I overheard Dale’s conversation with Jacob and they were discussing a woman named Bethany.
I wondered if Bethany is the current woman that graces the Alpha’s bed, but whoever was Bethany, I should be grateful to her. Because of how much trouble she caused for Alpha Jacob, my wedding to his brother kept on being postponed.
Once again, I planned to run away from Dale’s mansion whenever he’s gone to help Jacob. My position in his household has become dangerous. I was obsessed with what he did to my body. It hurts to think about it but that’s what happened.
