CHAPTER 8

***Amber’s Pov***

Alpha Marcus screamed at Dale but Dale just grinned happily as if he was enjoying the happening.

Then, without warning, Dale spit on the Alpha’s face. Once again, Alpha Marcus shouted furiously. Then he summoned another person to join us.

I just looked at the person who entered the bedroom because I had no idea who it was. But when I heard the Alpha’s command, my eyes widened in fear.

How could he let another man to touch me? I wanted to protest but I couldn’t! I was powerless before them! I couldn’t do anything to save myself.

When the newcomer began to touch my skin, I was taken aback and screamed loudly.

I wiggled my body to get away from him, but I couldn't do anything! I knew what was going to happen when he started undressing in front of me.

Worse, Dale didn't even flinch or show any sign of concern for my safety. Maybe I was the only one who had feelings for him...and I just wanted to die!

"Please, please, please stop!" I yelled, but he ignored me.

I couldn't ask the Alpha for help because he had asked the stranger to touch me in places he shouldn't have touched.

I waited for Dale to say something while the stranger molested me in front of them. He didn't, and I was devastated and disappointed that he could be so heartless!

"You stated that I am infertile, and that woman is pregnant! Do you know who did it?" The Alpha questioned Dale for the nth time.

"I did. I slept with her. She discovered your infertility and asked me to impregnate her," Dale responded.

“Nonsense!”

“It’s up to you, Alpha Marcus if you don’t want to believe me, but you can ask her,” Dale said while referring to me.

The audacity of the bastard! I was so angry that I wanted to kill all of them. If only I am powerful enough, or strong enough to get away of the rope that binds my hands.

Alpha Marcus screamed and drew the man who was attempting to penetrate me. Finally, I breathed a sigh of relief.

It would be traumatic to be violated by another man, and it would be difficult to move on later.

I thought he felt sorry for me, but he has other plans. Alpha Marcus undressed and crawled on top of my body without warning.

When he forced his way into me, my mouth gaped open, but I couldn't complain.

He would taunt the Dale every time he thrust into me. Alpha Marcus used me to provoke Dale, and I was just unlucky to be caught in the middle of their wars.

I closed my eyes, defeated, and surrendered to my fate. I stopped fighting against my fate and let the ruthless Alpha use my body however he saw fit.

When he told me to bend over, I did so. I didn't object when he asked me to suck his erection. I just let him use a toy to intensify the torture.

"Stop right now! How could you be so cruel to a woman? Stop!” Dale screamed, and when he morphed into a beast-like creature, Alpha Marcus rolled off my body.

I thought it was all over and I was safe, but Alpha Marcus changed his strategy.

He summoned reinforcements and overpowered Dale. They slapped, kicked, and punched him. I attempted to intervene this time. I couldn't stand watching him be tortured. I couldn't take it anymore!

"Be honest with me, Amber. Did you have any s****l relations with him? Answer me, you b***h!"

“Yes! I had an affair with him. I let him f**k me over and over again until I got pregnant." I admitted the truth, and his slap nearly knocked me out.

I was initially afraid to admit the truth, but I had no choice at the time. I was surrounded. Another slap landed on my face, and tears welled up in my eyes.

"How could you do it!"

"How could I possibly not? You will imprison or even kill me if I do not become pregnant within the allotted time. All I wanted was to live, Alpha Marcus! I just wanted to live!"

"Do you think you can survive by deceiving me? I'll never forgive you for what you did to me. You slept with another man, which is the most heinous thing you could possibly do to me! I am removing your status as one of my women, and you will work as a servant beginning today!"

Dale literally made me a slave. I had to work almost twenty-four hours a day since I also worked for the Alpha. He bossed me around like I wouldn’t get tired.

Initially, I thought I would be free from domineering men after Alpha Marcus became unconscious but Dale was worse. No, he was the worst! He knew I had a soft spot for him but he ordered me to seduce Jacob into sleeping with me.

Seducing men was easy but I couldn’t sleep with Alpha Jacob. His wife was a scary woman. Every time our eyes met, I could sense her murderous intention. I really had no idea why the Luna abhorred such hate toward me because I didn’t do anything wrong against her.

I had no idea what’s inside his mind but Dale asked me to do things even I didn’t like it. He was such a heartless man who didn’t mind hurting a person’s feelings in order to attain his goal.

He was so goal oriented and I hate it!

When I was demoted to being a servant instead of an Alpha’s breeding tool, I didn’t mind since it was better than to die. If only I wasn’t pregnant with his child, I wouldn’t mind dying at all. Anyway, my life was worthless!

However, for the sake of the baby, I couldn’t just be careless about my life. Fortunately, Alpha Marcus wasn’t able to announce my pregnancy to the entire pack, or I would be in trouble.

“I can’t do it, Dale,” I refused to sleep with Jacob because it was unacceptable!

“Why not, Amber? What’s the difference? You’re no longer a virgin, and you have slept with more than one person already. What’s the difference? Sleeping with another man wouldn’t matter at all,” he told me.

“W-what did you say?”

I wanted to tell him that the main reason why I couldn’t sleep with another man after him was because of my feelings for him. However, it seemed that Dale had no feelings for me.

It was just me who harbored some feelings toward the man, who I believed was my destined mate after seeing the rose tattoo on his neck. I couldn’t be mistaken. It was Dale who rescued me from dangerous rogues when I was just a teenager.

“You just have to sleep with him, then later on, ask him to own the child you’re carrying,” he suggested.

“You can’t be serious, Dale. How could you do this to your own baby? This is your child!”

“I didn’t want a child, Amber. It was you who wanted one,” he reminded.

“But still, this is your child I am carrying right now!” I insisted but he continued to ignore my words.

“That’s right, but only Jacob can guarantee your safety right now. The Luna is already suspicious about you, Amber,” he stated.

“But why?”

“Ask Jacob. He must have mentioned something to his wife about you. You know how women think,” he stated a fact.

I just groaned in response.

I wanted nothing else but freedom. How come I was entangled in a war between men?

“I don’t want to sleep with Jacob,” I told him one more time.

“You didn’t have to. You just have to trick him into believing that you slept with him. By the way, can you tell me why you don’t want to sleep with him?”

When he asked me that question, I wanted to tell him the truth but I was scared he would just humiliate how I felt toward him. Dale Ramsay was a heartless man who wouldn’t give a damn about my feelings.

“No particular reason,” I said.

“Very good, Amber. Sooner or later, you will learn that falling in love is useless. You will just get hurt,” he stated a fact.

“I am hurting now, Dale,” I mumbled but I doubt if he heard me.
