This had Kyoko frowning again, but within a couple seconds, although she hadn’t been paying attention to him, she felt her senses spike, and faster than a blink, the shield was there. She grinned, looking at him as he stood in front of her, this time on the other side of the barrier.
Then she saw an eerie, slow, creeping smile pass his lips, and it sent cold chills clear through her. He reached through the barrier with ease, and wrapped his fingers around her neck.
Kyoko blinked, thinking, 'holy hell, he did not just do that,’ and her shield disappeared. He released her, giving her a small jolt, then sent her on her butt again. "Hey, what was that for?" Kyoko said as he turned away from her.
