Joy Howard was seen in the hospital with her head on the bed for a quick nap, where her father Mr. Howard is currently been treated. Her father has been in the hospital for five years now after he was diagnosed with a deadly disease that is already having effects on his kidney. He has been loving and caring, he has been the one catering to her since her mother left her father due to his wretched state. He was a chauffeur, he left his job due to circumstances.

She promised to use everything in her power to take care of her father, but taking care of his hospital bills is taking a toll on her. She works several shifts to meet his daily hospital bills. Joy is a woman with deep brown eyes, elegant and tall, with beautiful fair skin. Many of her male counterparts have been eyeing her, especially one of her high mates. Jacob belongs to a second-class family in the city, he runs the entertainment industry. Entertainment is one of the booming businesses in the city.

Jacob Smith is a tall, handsome, and successful business professional aiming to become the top entertainment manager in the city. The nature of his job allows young ladies to flock around him and he has dated and slept with countless numbers of them. He has severally implored Joy to join him in the industry, stating that her beautiful features and her creativity in arts will make her popular in the industry but she seems not interested not when her father is still bedridden. She did not have time for fame just yet.

The alert from the machine connected to her father jolted her back from her sleep, she quickly pressed the emergency button for the doctor to alert the doctor. Immediately a doctor entered, she was asked to stay outside as they would need to operate on her father that instant.

She was scared to death, and filled with different emotions. She did not want to lose her father just yet, she was seen pacing the corridor of the operating room. Not quite long the Doctor came out from the operating room. She charged at him at once.

"Doctor how's my father's health, is he going to be fine, what's happening to him?", She bombarded the Doctor with a lot of questions.

"Be patient Ms Joy, I understand your plight. Come to my office right away, said the Doctor while hurrying away. Joy followed in quick footsteps, she was so anxious to know what was happening with her father.

After they had gone straight down from the operating room, they took a turn to the right. A block away, the Doctor's office sighted. He turns the lock to the office with a key. He placed his stethoscope on the table in front of him and he urged Ms. Joy to settle the armchair in the of the Doctor.

"Ms. Joy, your father's health is deteriorating, if not for the quick surgery he wouldn't have made it. He has nothing more than a month left. Except the kidney transplant is carried out fast with immediate effects." stated the Doctor.

Pa. Edward and his wife ask their grandson, James Edward to come and take over the business in the city, which is the largest entertainment industry in the city. James's Parents together with the grandparents were the pioneers of the industry. Pa. Edward had been in charge of the business since James' Parents died in a ghastly accident. Pa. Edward is too old to continue handling the business.

And James as a matter of virtue, had a Master's in Business administration in the entertainment industry abroad. He had gained necessary momentum abroad, with his name widespread as one the richest entertainment managers over there. James exudes confidence with his impressive stature, striking looks, and gentle, kind-hearted demeanor.

He is still devastated by the incident that claimed his Parent's lives some years ago, which made him an orphan. After the incident, he was taken into custody by his grandparents. They were able to give him the life he so much desired, just like his parents would have. He remain grateful and indebted to them all his life.

He put his secondhand man, his most trusted friend, Clarke in charge of his business abroad and flew home to heed his grandparent's call. Apart from the entertainment industry, James' Parents were also in charge of some airlines, estates, hotels, and resort centers in the city before their demise, which were fully managed by the most trusted manager Mr. Clark. So flying back to the city is not much stress for James.

After he lands, his grandfather's chauffeur is ready to take him to Grandparent's mansion. When he arrived, he paused in a spot, attempting to recall his old memories of the mansions. As he entered, he observed that some changes had taken place.

He was welcomed home by his grandparents, his uncle, his wife, and his cousins. He was elated to see them all. The grandparents are so fond of him, he has grown into a tall handsome, and dutiful grandson, he has been their saving hope; since the demise of their son and his wife. Surrounding him in a swarm, they couldn't seem to get their fill of him.

They were ushered into the dining hall by the butler after their little discussion. They were entertained by different cuisines suitable to their palates since he was used to them all. They all retire to the family room afterward.

"James, how long did you plan on staying in the city?" Quiered Matt. He knows James to be aloof, not forgiving, of a difficult demeanor since the demise of his Parents. So he is choosing his words wisely.

"I won't be long, I have to return soonest", chimed James, suspecting his Uncle reading meanings to his visit.

The Uncle and the family left not quite long, the grandfather invited his grandson to his study for further discussion. The butler provided coffee for them, and they both sipped while they discussed.

"James what have decided on? Are you staying or leaving soon?" Pa Edward questioned.

" Well am here for a reason to know your well-being and how you are faring", replied James while his face remained stoic.

He brought a parcel from his locker, opened it, and showed the content to his grandson. Some of the contents of the parcel are a picture, that shows a car's brake which had been tampered with, and the visual graphic of the man involved with a notable tattoo. The car is said to be the one his parents were traveling in when the accident occurred.

James could not believe his eyes, as he looked through the other contents. His anger burned intensely, seared into his memory like it was yesterday.

"I don't know if this will change your mind about staying. I have leads on the incident that claimed your Parents' lives, it might have been orchestrated. I know you have a powerful base abroad both in terms of arms and personnel and I know you are capable of bringing them down here. To come to the bottom of this matter, you will need to settle down here", Pa Edward claimed.

"I expect you to take charge of the entertainment business. I am adamant that your Uncle should not be involved, as it is rightfully your inheritance. Both your parents and I have dedicated extensive effort to this industry, and it should not be left for your Uncle to oversee. This is not up for debate, and I expect you to engage you assume control."

I need to see your marriage certificate, or I will choose who I like for you. Having a partner here will prompt you to stay in the city and look after, what your parents have labored on. Am giving you a week's ultimatum to prepare yourself for taking over.
