Derrek the Alpha

"What were you thinking how could you let her see you transform and now you brought her here" I heard a unfamiliar male voice yell as I slowly regained consciousness, I was laying on a bed but it wasn't mine I could tell, I slowly opened my eyes, scanning the environment around me, I was in some kind of strange room, one I wasn't used to, most of the decor seemed gothic and ancient but it had a fine tune to it, the ceiling and walls were well polished and the windows were all tainted allowing very little light into the room, the oak flooring was old but it seemed to still be in a great condition, there was a wardrobe filled with clothes at the far end of the room. The bed was soft and gothic just like the night stand next to it. I slowly got up, my mind a little blurry "where am I?, What happened?" I wondered trying to recall what happened. I immediately stood up as I finally remembered what had transpired in the forest, filled with shock, I couldn't still make complete sense of what had happened. Did I just see that wolf change into Derrek or was I too delusional because of the fear?, no that had happened Derrek had transformed into that beast. As I tried to make sense of all this I suddenly heard more voices coming from outside the room. I made my way for the door emerging into some kind of hallway, the house was much bigger than I thought, I crossed through to the far side of the hall passing a row of rooms, I could hear the voices clearer as I got closer to a stairway "this is the first time in decades a human has found out about our existence" a female voice said as I proceeded down the stairs, "I'll take full responsibility of her" a male voice replied, the voice sounded familiar, yes it was Derrek's, after walking down the fleet of stairs I finally got to what seemed to be the living room, the ceiling, walls and flooring where the same all over the house, paintings were hanged on the walls, most of the paintings seemed to have a wolf in it. I heard the voices come from a room behind the living room and I moved towards it. "Take full responsibility you say!, and how do you intend to do that?, I say we just dispose of her and close this chapter" it was the same male voice I heard in the room earlier, "I'm the alpha here and I decide what happens to her and that's final" I heard Derrek say with a firm tone as I neared the doorway. I walked into the room, there were six people sitted around a large table with Derrek at the head of the table, a man was standing a few feet close to him back rested on the wall hands crossed around his chest. The men seemed to be in their mid 30's except the one standing he seemed younger than the rest but older than Derrek, the women looked much younger. All their attention shifted to me as I walked into the room, Derrek rising from his chair, his eyes filled with worry as he came towards me"Hey, Ken, you OK?" he said with utter worry in his voice as he reached for me, I shifted away from him not letting him touch me" stay away from me!" my voice sounded shaky but firm, the rest of the people seated at the table stood up all staring at me like I was some kind of problem that need to be taken care of, Derrek tried approaching me again"Ken I know all this is a little too much to take in right now but please I want you to relax and trust me" I stepped even further away from him looking him in the eye my eyes filled with anger "trust you?, you transformed from a full grown wolf to a man right in front of me and you want me to trust you.I thought I knew you, guess I was wrong" I ran out of the room trying to find my way out the house, my eyes whelming up with tears. I went out through a door in the living room which led out into the front porch, I ran out into the streets and realized I was in some sort of town in the middle of a forest, I couldn't recognize any of the houses around and I had no idea where I was. I heard Derrek call out to me from behind I didn't look back, I just ran as fast as I could entering into the forest, I had no idea where I was going all I know was I had to get away from Derrek. I ran deeper into the forest, trying hard not to cry. This is what happens when I let my guard and trust people, my pace started to slow down as fatigued kicked in, there was a lake up ahead,I ran towards it not slowing down, the lake was wide and clear and looked beautiful under the ray of the sun, I fell to my knees as I got to the lake staring into it, as I stared into into lake watching my reflection, tears flowed out my eyes my emotions coming loose all at once. I sat close to the lake my legs dangling in the glowing water, trying not to think about the fact the guy I just started knowing and have a crush on is a werewolf and his people want to dispose of me, a soothing thought that is. I heard some rustling sounds come from the bushes behind me and I quickly got up to my feet as a black wolf emerged from the bush, I was about to run then my eyes met with a familiar silver eyes, I eased up a bit as wolf I now know to be Derrek stood in front of me, it held a jacket in it's mouth as it stared right at me, I turned back to face the pool finally realizing how cold it is out here, Derrek now in human form stood at my side staring into space, he offered me the jacket and I took it from him and wore it not wanting to look him in the face, we stood there in silence for for some minutes. Derrek finally decided to say something, I didn't really want to listen to anything he had to say, who am I kidding? all I really want him to say is this all is a bad dream and I'll wake up soon enough. "I know this is too much to take in all at once and I'm really sorry to have dragged you into all this but I really need you to understand" he said still staring blankly at the lake. Understand him? how does he seriously expect me to understand any of this, I don't even still have a clear idea about any of this, I don't still know where I am or what he actually is. we remained silent for a while still staring at the lake, I raised up my head and looked at him"why didn't you say anything?"I said still staring at him, he looked at me puzzled raising an eyebrow, I got the message, oh yeah, I got the message, it wouldn't have made any sense if he had mentioned he was a werewolf and to be fair I wouldn't be in all this if I had just kept my nose to my business. I took a deep breath shifting my gaze to the lake once more"alright, tell me everything,I want to know what exactly I got myself into" I said giving him a determined look, he looked at me surprised then he smirked his smile perfectly reflected through those silver grey eyes
