3. Two Man.

The Dyson Kingdom was home to five formidable packs that were substantial in size that were kept in the palm of the Alpha King’s hand. They provided the Royal Pack with security, strength, and confidence when facing the other supernatural beings that surrounded their Kingdom. These packs were the indestructible walls around the Dyson Kingdom that made their opponents yield before they even considered fighting them. However, the strongest and most significant pack that the King kept a close eye on was the Dumas Moon Pack. The Dumas Moon Pack served as the protectors of the Royal Pack and were considered the heart of the werewolf realm. That was until Jermaine's second son Harrison became Alpha. "Princess Regina, stop right there!" A warning arrow pierced the ground between Regina's feet, raising some pack members' heart rates but also bringing satisfied grins to the faces of others. “Mother, why did they need to give Regina a choice? Shoot her in the head and finish this!” Violet whispered to her mother, Bernice. Regina’s return from the brink of death annoyed Violet to no end, it was not what she had planned. “Don't be impatient. Look at the hundreds of arrows that are ready to cleave her in two,” Bernice remarked. Regina came to a halt while raising her gaze to Alpha Harrison. “Regina, please don’t,” Olivia placed her hands over her mouth in terror as she begged her though mind-link. But then she noticed something surrounding Regina. “Regina, there are wolves!!” Olivia screamed through mind-link wanting to step forward. “Don't come over here. Stay right there among the crowd,” Regina ordered, having noticed the four massive wolves that had surrounded her like ravenous beasts ready to pounce if she so much as twitched. Olivia froze in place seeing Regina's fearless yet calm expression. “It’s Princess Regina. She is alive,” a few Omegas who stood next to the coffin for her burial rites shivered. In her previous life, Regina had run out of the prison terrified of the rogues and ended up in this very backyard. Where she had found them preparing for her burial, they were outraged to find her alive. She had been forced to fall to her knees and accept all of their heinous demands while suffering the humiliation that they called protection. Regina was confronted with the past once more, but this time there was no fear, tears, or surprise in her eyes. “The next arrow will pierce Princess Regina’s chest if she takes another step towards the packhouse,” Harrison’s Beta, Farris warned. His deep voice resonated through the yard in an attempt to intimidate Regina. “I wonder why I’m being welcomed with arrows and wolves?” Regina cast her gaze over Bernice, Violet, Alvara, and Laila, the group of brightly colored snakes, concealing their venomous bites purposefully beneath anxious looks. They couldn't wait for Regina to put on a show of weeping and pleading for her life. Her devious family’s eyes anxiously waited for her to beg for forgiveness. Even though that satisfying scene would never come. “This b***h dared to question us,” Laila frowned while mind-linking her mother, Luna Alvara. She witnessed Regina's change in attitude but then was taken aback for a split second when Regina glanced up at her. Laila wondered if Regina read her mind. Her most feared foe had returned. “If she didn't die in the prison, these wolves will finish her,” Alvara stated from her position next to Laila. “She has violated an order and escaped her prison cell, which is grounds for execution.” “Yes, there will be no way for Regina to claim my Grant,” Laila’s bright blue eyes sparkled with delight. Laila had not been able to sleep since Regina revealed Grant was her mate. Laila was twenty, but her wolf had not named Grant as her mate, while Regina was about to turn eighteen. Regina had become even more of a threat to her cousin and needed to be removed before Grant recognized her as his mate. “Father, please forgive Regina. She has just recovered. Please let her return to the packhouse.” Laila showed fake kindness. “From today onward she isn’t allowed to enter the packhouse!” Harrison growled. “She’ll be living in the prison. Those who take her side will bear the same punishment.” He was the Alpha and if he let that little slut off with too light a punishment then he was going to lose face. Jermaine was no longer here to protect her. “You didn’t even think about your Father, Alpha Austin’s reputation before committing such a shameless act!” He yelled poking at an old wound ofRegina’s by mentioning her father. When Regina was six, Harrison killed Austin in the woods with his Beta and Gamma using rogues in order to become the next Alpha. The circumstances surrounding her Father’s death were mysterious, his body was found ripped in two. “Father, Austin’s sons are only eight so I’m the only one who can take over the Alpha’s position.” Harrison had put on the mask of a good son. “That’s impossible,” Jermaine replied. “Why Father? Because I’m not your son from your first mate?” Harrison demanded. Jermaine’s first mate had died shortly after giving birth to Austin. Jermaine was lucky enough to receive a second chance mate, who gave birth to twins a year later, Bernice and Harrison. Alessia despised being referred to as Jermaine's ‘second chance mate’ and being compared to his deceased mate. As a result, she always wished for her children to outperform Austin. “Don't talk nonsense,” Jermaine growled. His second chance mate died of an incurable disease, but all three children grew up competing against each other. Austin, the oldest child, was as quiet and brave as his Father. Bernice and Harrison were the first to find their soulmates. Harrison gave the pack an heir, Arlo, before Austin could. Despite Harrison’s best efforts to impress his Father, Austin the firstborn remained the best candidate for the Alpha position. “Then why?” “You have my blood but you don't have the qualities required to lead the pack. Don't worry I’ll take over the position again,” Jermaine had ruined all of Harrison’s plans. It was enough of a reason for Harrison to loathe his Father for the rest of his life as they had squandered his dream of leading the pack. Harrison had years of his pent up anger but Jermaine’s disappearance gave him the golden opportunity to steal the Alpha position. Regina glared at her Father’s murderer from behind her hair. She had discovered the information when she had accidently taken Harrison’s personal journal which revealed all of the crimes that he committed against her Father. By the time she had read it, it had already been a year since she had lost Stone and Arnold. “I wish I could accompany Regina to the prison but I don't have the guts to commit that kind of crime,” Laila pretended to lower her head in fear as she hid her smirk. She just closed any of the doors that had remained open to Regina. She lifted her worried eyes to meet Regina’s, letting her know that she tried to save her. “Guts?” Regina grumbled under her breath. Laila’s face turned ugly in surprise when Regina returned her worried gaze with a small smile. Most of Regina’s face was covered by her hair so Laila was confused as to whether what she had seen was correct or not. Regina tore her eyes away from Laila and looked at the Alpha and Luna who were standing in front of the packhouse. “Why am I not allowed to enter the packhouse?” Regina asked. Her tone was quiet and respectful, yet it still seemed as if she was demanding the Alpha answer her. Everyone grimaced in dissatisfaction, focusing their attention on the inquiry that the Princess had placed with the Alpha. Even though Harrison, Alvara, and Bernice stood on a slightly raised platform in front of the packhouse, they appeared to be beneath Regina, in both power and rank. Bernice smiled bitterly. She was not someone who would take being questioned lightly especially by a weak Princess that she viewed as beneath her. "I can understand that you are scared Regina but if you accept your sins and bear your punishment then I’ll personally ask my brother for your sentence to be reduced." Bernice, Alpha Harrison's older sister, offered, faking her sincerity even though she knew that no one was going to buy it. Unlike Luna Alvara, Bernice openly showed her hatred for Regina. She had what she viewed as a good reason, Regina was related to her mother, Luna Azaiza. Bernice was granted a lone wolf, Sven, as her mate he possessed nothing but poverty to his name. Then one day he sexually assaulted Luna Aziza. Sven was beaten like an animal and exiled from the Dumas Moon Pack. “Sven wouldn't do this!” Bernice fought for him, refusing to believe the allegations that had been placed against her mate. Despite the fact that he was Bernice's mate, he was cast out like rotten trash. Absolutely crazy in rage Bernice nearly lost her mind when Aziza gave birth to Regina. “That b***h gave birth to a moon beauty who will steal my Violet’s fame!” Regina resembled Aziza so Bernice disliked her even more. Even though Regina was a year younger than Violet, Regina was a huge obstacle for Bernice’s daughter's future. So much so in fact that Bernice had decided to remove her using whatever means necessary. That day the Moon Goddess had presented her with a huge opportunity in which Regina's life hung by a weak thread that Bernice was ready to clip. "My apologies but I’m unaware of what Aunt Benny is talking about," Regina politely responded. Bernice grimaced, feeling offended as Regina refused to accept the courtesy of a reduced sentence by pretending to be oblivious of the scandal. Violet frowned. “Regina, everyone knows you were alone with a man in one of the palace bedrooms,” Violet decided to rip off Regina’s mask of innocence as her whorish antics were already widely known throughout the Dyson Kingdom. “What with man?” Regina gasped. Violet frowned. If Regina thought that she could get away with it by playing dumb, she was going to lose even more standing in the eyes of the people. “Yes, you smelled like him and lost your innocence. As a Princess this kind of behavior has ruined our pack’s name,” Violet spoke cautiously, pretending to be an innocent female with no understanding of what happens between a man and a woman. “Oh…” Regina's lips rose slightly at Violet’s statement. Regina had seen her sneaking into a room with the Third Prince in the past. The Third Prince was not someone who would keep his hands to himself when he was around a woman. As the daughter of an Alpha, a woman had to remain a virgin for her mate or chosen mate. That particular gift was meant for her husband otherwise she would be labeled a w***e for the rest of her life. It could also cause her to be rejected. Despite the fact that Violet had not had intercourse with the Third Prince, she had let him do just about anything else so that she could lure him in later with her virginity, which she had kept safe just for him. Violet had been madly in love with the Third Prince since she was fifteen, and she was close to fulfilling her goal of marrying him. Regina had an emotional moment when she remembered her son Vayu dying in Violet's arms for a split second, but she kept her cool. “Do you have proof?” Regina demanded, stunning Violet. This weak woman who had lived in Violet’s shadow her entire life and believed everything she said blindly dared to ask for proof? “On what basis am I being accused?” Regina's icy demeanor and Violet's casual expression drew the attention of the entire pack. Even though Violet had been provoked by Regina's question and daring, she excelled at pretending and concealing her true emotions. “Laila’s personal maid saw the shadow of a man in the window of the room,” Violet remarked as she pointed at the woman standing behind Laila. “Yes, my maid saw a man with you, Regina,” Laila lied anxiously. Laila took advantage of the fact that Olivia had not been with her the night of the party. Regina had gone alone with her other maid. “We were already searching for you when we found you on another male’s bed. I’m worried whether your mate or any other male will accept you now, Regina,” Laila brought fake tears to her eyes to help her gain respect from the pack. “I’m worried whether the man who took your innocence will accept you or not,” Violet added fuel to the fire before continuing. “If you reveal his name to the Alpha then that man won’t be able to escape taking responsibility for his actions,” Violet showed sincerity towards Regina. They planned the best way possible to kick Regina out of the pack. They were going to tie her to a random wolf who could be a waiter from the palace or a lowly Omega. It would be even better if he turned out to be a slave. Regina blinked as she looked between her cousins. “I never knew you two were so thoughtful of my reputation,” Regina remarked with tears in her eyes. The maid standing among the crowd panicked. “It seems my dignity can only be saved when I marry the person who was in the room with me,” Regina bit her lip, which brought huge satisfied smiles to her cousins. “True,” Violet and Laila agreed. Finally, the Princess was still a stupid b***h who obeyed them blindly. “Then Alpha, please help me to marry both of them,” Regina requested, turning to face Harrison who had been quiet the whole time. Everyone's ears perked up wanting to know the men’s names. “Both of them?” An uproar broke out in the clearing. So there were two men?! Violet and Laila mentally grinned at the thought of Regina’s innocence being ruined by two men. Could there be anything better than this revelation? “Who were they?” Harrison asked. “The Third Prince Farrell had pulled me inside the room and Alpha Prince Grant had followed me inside.” Regina revealed. Everyone’s faces grew pale.
