Estrella Academy: Into the Other World

Chapter 12: Arriving.

It was late in the evening when they woke me up.

We need to get ready now because we're leaving.

I remember earlier, Sofia told me we need to cross a portal, they called it Hozie, to successfully enter the other world, Tierra.

“Do I need to wear this kind of clothes?” I asked Sofia.

They want me to wear baggy and messy clothes.

I'm not picky on my clothes, but this is uncomfortable. The shirt has too many holes in it. You can literally see my bare skin.

And why do I need to pretend? Can't I take the entrance exam as the real me? How is it dangerous? Damn, I have a lots of questions.

“This is a parr of your act. You might thought, why do you need to hide your identity? It's because you're on a secret mission. It's not a mission anymore if you reveal yourself to them. And one more thing. You're not going there to make friends, understood? They're all your enemy. Remember that.” She alarmed me again.

I don't want to do this, but I need to. It's my responsibility now. I can't just run away.

And I admit it, I can feel somewhere in my body that I'm also excited into this.

It's like an adventure, I hope this journey of mine will gonna be fun.

After Sofia finished everything, we immediately go out to see the others.

We saw Mr. Madrigal is alone. Sitting on the couch in the living room, sipping his beloved tea.

He seems pretty calm. I think he's always calm.

Then someone walks in through the back door. if I'm not mistaken, Yohan is his name.

“Is everything good? Do you explained it all to her, Sofia? We need to be careful in our actions, so be observant. Understood?” Mr. Madrigal is so strict. He is well disciplined.

“Yes, everything is all set. We'll be more careful in the future.” Sofia replied.

Mr. Madrigal looked at me. I can tell that he's judging my looks. But he didn't utter any words.

Our eyes locked but I immediately looked away. I'm nervous and I think that it's rude to look elders in the eye. So I did the same as Sofia did. We're now both looking on the floor.

“You too, Yohan. Don't take your eyes away on her. It's very dangerous gor her so be ready at any cost. Always choose to protect her. That's your only job. You can't fail that simple task.”

I glanced at Yohan's face but just like when we first met, his expression is blank. You can't see any emotions in it.

“Stella, I want your full cooperation. I hope you won't break your responsibility. Play your role well, okay?”

I respond with a simple nod out of nervous. I can't talk. Too scared.

But I understand it really well. I understand that I have a responsibility. I promised my parents that I will not fail in this mission. I promised them. I'll prove them that I can do this.

“Sofia, stay here. Yohan and Stella, put your one hand in my shoulder.” Mr. Madrigal utter his last command.

I slowly walk near him. Yohan has already put his right hand on Mr. Madrigal's left shoulder.

Before I could put my hands above Mr. Madrigal's shoulder, Sofia waved her goodbyes.

“Remember, Stella, you're a beggar who has no guardian. Take care of yourself. Especially when you got in there, not everyone is real. Trust no one but yourself, understood? Take good care. Good bye, Stella.” It made a bit sad she's not coming with us.

I gave her a genuine smile. It's nice meeting her.

I suddenly miss my friends, I wonder what are they doing right now? I hope they're all doing good.

Mr. Madrigal will use his power to teleport us to the Hozie. I asked Sofia earlier if why we can't just teleport to Tierra directly? That would be easier but Sofia said it was impossible, she even laugh at me.

Tierra and Earth are two different world, no one knows neither how far it is to each other nor how close could it be.

As I said earlier, Yohan Already laid his left hand on Mr. Madrigal's shoulder while his other hand are inside his pocket.

They are waiting for me but I'm too nervous.

The moment I laid my hands on his shoulder, I immediately closed my eyes. I'm a little afraid because I'm not used to this kind of thing. I'm new to this. Who on Earth will not be shocked on teleporting?

“You can open your eyes now, Stella.” it was Mr. Madrigal's voice.

I slowly open my eyes and saw a lot of trees surrounding us. The moon is round and the cold wind is embracing my body.

T-that's it? We're already in the center of the forest? With ust a blink of an eye?

“Are you okay? You feel dizzy or something?” Mr. Madrigal asked me.

But why do I feel he's not even worried?

“No, not really. Its just that, I didn't expect that teleporting all the way here was so easy.” I said frankly.

He just ignored me and began to focus.

He's blubbering some words that I can't understand. I don't even know what language it is. I think it's similar to spanish but I don't think so.

Suddenly, a huge rectangular rock came out . It's so cool. I can't stopped myself from being amazed. I think I look ignorant right now, based on their looks. It's full of judgement but I don't care. I'm busy identifying what is this thing.

It's a transparent portal. And it's floating. You won't even think that it's a portal if there's no stone on the sides.

They already crossed the portal like it's a normal day in them. They don't even told me anything about it. Like do I need to utter words? Is there a passcode?

“Stella, come on here quickly! The Hozie will soon disappear.” I heard a voice coming from the portal, I think it's Mr. Madrigal.

I did notice that the portal are slowly fading. So enter it immediately. Adrenaline rushed through my body. I was afraid I'm gonna left behind.

But I think I made a mistake. Because as soon as I got in to the portal,

I was falling. Everything is black and I can't see anything. But I know I was falling.

What should I do!?
