My Love,
As I stared outside, watching helplessly to the continued onslaught of mighty Odette, thoughts in my mind were popping out of nowhere. At times, I found my grasp on your crescented waist, watching you closely with my eyes as your hands rested on my neck. There, we swayed slowly, tamed by the notes of Pachebel. It was warming, and your hands emitted warmth; I wish I had beneath this frigid, ravaging storm. I felt cold and lonely, soaked with the trails of longing. What are you up to? Have you ever thought the same? I watched you rest beside me, staring at your chest, rising and falling with your eyes closed. I wish you dream of me at this moment before the paws of the weather claim us. I was unearthed when a loud bang on the roof of the building reverberated through the surroundings, and one of the fluorescent bulbs fell and powdered to the ground. It was when I realized that I had fallen asleep from exhaustion. Still, the weather outside seemed to become too wild, and the wind force was strong as if it brought a huge slab with it as it slammed to the building. I look at my watch. My love, I survived!
The night has gone deeper, and although the storm continues to show its might, I know it is her final blow. With reference to the previous forecast, I knew I wasn't wrong, and I did. A few minutes from my daydream, the wild wind suddenly vanished, and the rain began to pour heavily. In that heavy rain, I knew it was her farewell. Then, it became light, and drizzle and eventually, silence.
We immediately rushed to our home, bringing your thoughts with me. With smiles carved on my face, I wonder what your reaction would be if I brought you some flowers, if I brought you some food, if I cook for you, or if I wake you up in the morning with gentle kisses before we start our day. "Would you be happy if you saw me alive and well?" Tears were falling as I let my mind wander, "because I am to you." With the networks' signals lost, I hope to visit you anytime soon.
Remember, I love you!
Without Wax,
J.L.
