12 We had met once before in this café. It was a small and unremarkable café with six tables. Grey floor, beige walls, a bar, round little tables, photos of old trains and airplanes on the walls… Nothing spectacular or special… But we had already met there once… so this place was more important and dearer to me than the trendiest and best designed establishments. There was only one table available, right by the door. The rest were all taken and the people were in no hurry to leave.
