I can’t believe Xyril could be this heartless.
I thought it was just an exaggeration when he told me that he would leave me behind if ever I chose to give money to the poor. I didn’t even receive any money from him, so it felt ridiculous when he tried to stop me.
What he did only proved to me that he’s no different than those arrogant rich people who feel entitled just because they think they’re on top.
In fact, he’s worse than them because he’s being idolized and admired. A vast number of people look up to him, not knowing how much he despises the poor.
And it actually poses an even bigger question. Why would he hate the poor so much to the point that he doesn’t want to give them any hope in life?
