Adaora in Wonderland

Meilen Zürich Lake Adaora - Mom, I miss you so much; life is so hard without you and dad. Would you please let me stay here with you? - No precious. You have a long and wonderful life ahead of you. There will be some obstacles, but you are strong, much stronger than you think, and you will overcome all of them. Your dad and I will always watch over you. We love you, and we miss you too. Now it's time to wake up. - NO!!! Mom, please don't leave me again, please, mom. -Adaora, wake up. WAKE UP!!! It was a dream. I wiped my teary eyes to examine the room around me—empty. The only furniture is the giant bed I slept in. The pillow next has a headprint on it. Was I r***d while I was unconscious? I am dressed differently but still have my underwear on; I don't feel any pain between my legs, and the bed is not stained. Could it be that Cassius caught me and brought me back to the Penguin? It is possible. But I remember trying to stop a car. Maybe I managed to escape after all, and the driver rescued me. My mouth is dry as parchment, and my breath probably smells like something died in my mouth. I also cannot remember the last correct meal I had. I hope my host will let me eat something before I leave. Or maybe not; I should exit immediately. I don't know what kind of person shares the bed of an unconscious stranger. Again somebody disposed of me. My clothes were probably dirty after my wild run. Maybe I should not make such a big deal about it. My mother always told me that every situation, no matter how dramatic, has a bright side. Even if I felt uncomfortable with the idea that a total stranger undressed me, it could have been worse. I decided to ignore the protests of my legs, soured from the wild run through the forest, to explore the rest of the place. It's huge. I found six other rooms disposed along a corridor. Oddly enough there is no furniture whatsoever. If not for the marks on the pillow, I would think I am the only human being around. The corridor leads to stairs. Downstairs too, left to the hall, there is a vast room I suppose is the living room also empty, with a chiminea! So I guess this is not an apartment but rather a house? A house where a family of dinosaurs could easily fit in. I also discovered what should be a dining room. I begin to worry about this weird empty house with no furniture. I finally found the kitchen. Great, I can have some water before continuing my exploration and hopefully find some answers. I don't know why I thought that a house with no sofa, carpet and only one bed in one of its seven bedrooms would have glasses. Well, at least water is running from the tap; I will drink from my hands. While quenching my thirst, I saw a large white hand approaching my shoulder from the corner of my eyes. I turned and splashed with water whoever was trying to grab me.
