Chapter 15: A dinner date

*Kayla*  I've been shopping all day and by evening, I'm starving. Tom, grateful for my help with his wardrobe update, offers to buy me dinner. Obviously, I'm not about to turn down a meal, so off we go to Tribeca.  Once we're there, I dive into the lobster on the menu with gusto.  The guys at the next table give us curious glances, trying to figure out why Tom, who looks pretty sharp, is letting his lady indulge so heartily. They're probably thinking I've been on a strict diet or something.  But the truth is, when I'm eating, I'm all in. I don't care about appearances. In my line of work, when you're constantly busy, a good meal is like striking gold.
