I wobbled alongside my parents toward the entrance of the castle. The weather was fine, yet it felt oddly heavy—almost polluted. Or maybe it was just my imagination, triggered by the knowledge that the unwanted were about to intrude on our celebration.
I glanced around, scanning the area for my second and third in command. More importantly, I was looking for her—my woman. As far as Zeus and I were concerned, she was ours. Only her. Not that snobbish witch who once claimed to be my mate.
