“All right, stop,” Arden cut in with a heartfelt laugh, which was exactly what Kade was aiming for. “You’re giving me goosebumps.”
Smiling sleepily, Kade said, “Right now, I wish I could give you far more than that.”
Despite trying to be provocative, he was clearly beginning to get drowsy. Arden was infected by it as well.
“You should go to sleep.”
“Nooo… Don’t wanna…”
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Mr. Harker.”
Kade continued to be playful even though he really seemed about to pass out. “Not if I see you in my dreams first.”
Happy and giddy, Arden shook his head slowly. “I think we’re getting out of hand.”
