Kade’s pent-up desire had him taking slow and deep breaths when he and Arden forced themselves to separate. Judging by Arden’s flushed face, he wasn’t having it any easier either.
“I’m gonna need a minute to calm down,” Kade said while helping Arden put his appearance to rights. “So I’ll be taking the stairs.”
Arden nodded and answered a bit dazedly, “Okay.”
Kade smiled. After giving Arden one last peck on the cheek, he said, just a tad hopeful, “See you tomorrow?”
