I insist

Sabrina leaned back in her chair on the sun deck, a satisfied smirk spreading across her face. She had just ended her engagement to Alan and with Alan's weakness in her hand, she could probably score a hefty sum of money as the compensation of Alan's "cheating", all thanks to her clever plan. Joey came to her with a bunch of roses in his hand. "So, how did it go, dear?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation. Sabrina couldn't help but chuckle at Joey's eagerness. "It went perfectly," she replied. "Alan slept with a waitress last night, and I caught him in the act. He had no idea what was happening, and now he's out of the picture for good." Joey grinned and leaned to kiss Sabrina, clearly pleased with the outcome. "That's great news. So, what's next?" Sabrina's expression turned thoughtful. "Well, now that Alan is out of the way, I can break off the engagement. With his weakness in my hand and with you by my side, we can be the most powerful werewolf couple." Joey's smile widened at the mention of ruling the pack. "I can't wait to see what the future holds, my dear mate," he said, his eyes shining with excitement. Sabrina stood up, her gaze locked with Joey's as she put her lips against his. "It's going to be amazing," she said, her voice low and seductive. "We'll be unstoppable." On their way to Sabrina's cabin, Joey's mind raced with possibilities as he clung to his mate. His heart was pounding with excitement as he thought about his future with Sabrina. With her beauty and wealth, he knew that they would make a perfect match; and with her cunning and his strength, he also knew they could achieve anything they desired. What's more, he can finally get rid of the pathetic omega girl. The mere thought of Elaine made him feel disgusted. How could he have ever thought that she was worth his time? She was nothing but a pathetic omega, and he was glad that he was finally rid of her. With Sabrina by his side, he was destined for greatness. In Alan's Cabin. After Sabrina left the cabin, an awkward silence hung in the air, making it hard for Elaine and Alan to look at each other. Elaine's heart was racing, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that engulfed her. What's more, she didn't even have the time to put on all of her clothes because of Sabrina and she was still half naked! She knew she had made a terrible mistake, and the fact that Alan had just witnessed it made her feel even worse. Alan, on the other hand, felt uneasy, unsure of what to say or do, especially when he's naked himself and with a half naked girl in front of him. "Who are you?" Alan rubbed his forehead and tried to find his own clothes. He noticed that the clothes Elaine was wearing were cheap ones, a hint of suspicion grew in him: did this girl drug me last night? Was she trying to blackmail me after sleeping with me? Thinking of these, the deep blue eyes began to sharpen and his expression was quite unpleasant as he stared at Elaine putting on her clothes. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." After putting on all her clothes, Elaine finally couldn't control her emotions and started crying out, "I didn't know what happened last night, I really didn't know! it was a mistake..." Tears continued to stream down from the corners of her eyes, she half crouched on the ground, crying out loud in despair. Alan's suspicions somehow faded as he saw the hurt in Elaine's eyes and the marks of the slap on her face. He could tell how desperate she was and he was a little overwhelmed by her actions. There's something different about this girl, his instinct told him. And for the first time in a long time, he didn't know what to do. "Are you okay? Do you want to talk?" After a long period of silence, when Elaine's cries began to get smaller and weaker, Alan finally spoke. She raised her swollen teary eyes to look at him with surprise. She thought he would blame her and scold her, and even despise her like everyone else, but he didn't. The worry and concern on his face made her gradually stop crying and her mood slowly calmed down. She rearranged her memory, then told him all she could remember what happened last night. Knowing about everything, Alan became less suspicious of her:"I'm sorry to hear what happened to you, Elaine. That's a tough thing to go through. I think you're also a victim, someone else must have set this up." Elaine raised her head in disbelief; she couldn't believe that he didn't blame her and even comfort her. She felt that her tears were going to flow again. But this time, it's not because of fear or guilt. Soon, during the time of washing his face and dressing up, Alan had figured out how he should go about handling this matter - He was going to look into last night's drinks and find out who set them up, and on the other hand, his marriage contract with Sabrina would probably be canceled and he'll need to give proper compensation to Sabrina. Thinking of this, he secretly felt relieved - Maybe it's best for both of them. After all, it was only a marriage of interest between their two families, and he barely knew about Sabrina. The ferry trip was supposed to be a chance for the two of them to get to know each other. "What's your plan next?" After deciding on what he was going to do, Alan asked Elaine. "I...I don't know." Elaine really appreciates Alan's concerns, so she wiped her tears and smiled weakly at him, "Thanks for your concerns. I don't know how to face Joey right now and he was the only reason why I'm on this ferry. Please don't mind me, I will leave here right now and never appear in front of you again and I will not tell anyone about last night, I promise." By saying that, she straightened the clothes she was wearing, turned around and prepared to leave Alan's cabin. "Wait." Alan suddenly felt his heart gripped tightly upon hearing Elaine say that she would never appear in front of him again. Without thinking, he stopped her. "Sir, is there anything else you would like to ask?" Elaine was confused. "Yes." Alan's mind raced as he thought of what to say to make her stay, "uh, I think your dress got dirty and wrinkled last night because of me. I should buy you a new dress to make it up." "It's okay, sir." Elaine smiled and felt a bit embarrassed when she looked down at the shabby dress she was wearing. "It was a cheap dress anyway." Besides, she had noticed that the stores on the ferry were all luxury brand shops that she could never afford all her life. A pair of socks in this kind of store cost more than the sum of all the clothes she was wearing right now. "I insist." Without giving her any chance to refuse, Alan took Elaine's hand and prepared to lead her away.
