Epilogue Eight years later...The gravel crunched under one of our cars. I had no idea if it was Hector and Rachel back from the meeting they'd had with a local food delivery service, or if Martin was bringing Joseph back from his Daddy and Me art club. He might only be four, but he already had his father's flair for art. Of course, there wasn't any actual proof that he was Martin's biological son. We'd never actually know, but it didn't matter. To us, he was ours. Just like the other little one still encased in his or her egg and sitting in the special fire pit we'd built in the back garden. I was really looking forward to having another little one around and hoped they would arrive soon. There was nothing better than watching my mates with our son, two children would be even better. Jo
