"Liam?" Madison called out softly. She knew he'd be very worried at this point. But, she more worried. He hadn't said a word yet about the situation and it was killing her.
She tried sitting up on the bed, but Liam stopped her. "You don't have to. I'm here." He said calmly.
"Aren't we going to talk about it? Should we keep on pretending like nothing happened?" She asked.
Liam scoffed. "All that matters to me right now is your health. The doctor said you can go home today with a little more rest. It would kill me if the doctor said otherwise because you refused to heed instructions." He patted her cheeks lovingly.
"Liam... I insist."
"Shhhh. Hush, now and get some rest, love. We can talk another time. We still have forever together, remember?" He said and stared down at her ring.
