Moving In Together
Within a week after graduation, Kimberly landed a job as a legal assistant at a law firm. Her position was largely secretarial, but she liked the people in the office a great deal. One evening during her second week, she dropped by Alex’s and told him to come with her. “I have a surprise.” He looked at her with such reverence and longing on the way out to her car that she knew he’d remained good. “How many days have you suffered for me?”
