Clerivan's POV
After looking at what Loella handed him.
His face was automatically flushed.
It was a flower ring!
Does she want him to give it to Shenaira to appease her anger about the misunderstanding earlier?
Can he give this ring to her?
What if she got mad at him?
What if she throws the flower?
Multiple questions were running through his mind right now.
He gathered all of his courage to give the flower to Shenaira.
He stood up and went to Shenaira's side and stretched his hand to show and give her the flower.
"Uhm ah-I-m s-sorry!! A-about w-what h-happened earlier" he said while trembling.
He saw Shenaira's startled face.
He froze.
He thought that he made a mistake and began to panic.
He grabbed her arm and put the ring inside of it then he went back to his chair bowing his flushed face.
He couldn't bear to look at her face.
He was so shy and embarrassed about what he did just now.
He turned his head to see Loella who was smiling secretly.
He heard her giggled.
He thought that he was tricked by her.
He promised himself that he will get revenge at Loella.
He secretly threw some glances at Shenaira.
He was stunned after seeing her blushed face!
What does it mean?
Did she like his peace offering to her?
Are they on good terms now?
He watched her keeping the flower in her hand and putting it in her handkerchief.
He felt happy and relieved but when he made an eye to eye contact on Shenaira she scorned him!
Clerivan was puzzled about her reaction? Did she not like the flower but he saw her keeping the flower?
He was so confused.
Shenaira's POV
She saw Loella went to the garden to find something and after a few minutes she saw her coming back from the gardern. She was about to ask her what she did in the garden when she saw her stop at Clerivan's chair.
She was puzzled by her acting.
What will Loella do to Clerivan?
She felt upset and annoyed about her facing Clerivan but she ignored the unfamiliar feeling rising in her young heart.
She saw Loella handed something to Clerivan that made his face flushed.
She was really curious about the thing she gave to Clerivan!
Why did she only give Clerivan that thing?
What about her?
Loella did not give her anything instead she went back to her chair and began eating her food as if nothing happened.
She shifted her gaze to Clerivan to see what he will do about the thing he received.
When suddenly he stood up and headed to where she was.
He passed by to Loella's chair and glances at Loella who was giggling silently.
What is happening right now?
When she turned her head to Justin's chair she saw eating some desserts like there were no people around him.
He does not even care about his brother Clerivan walking towards her!
When she return her gaze to Clerivan she saw her red ears, he looked embarassed! He stopped behind her, facing her.
He was silent for a couple of seconds then he began to speak loudly at her but he was stammering at the same time.
She was frozen and startled by his loud voice.
He apologized to her about the misunderstanding that happened earlier. So that is what it is.
It was an apology from him.
She felt happy about his sincere apology. He's probably not a bad boy at all.
Followed by his stammering apology.
She saw him stretching his arms to give her something.
He handed her a flower ring!
A flower ring!
So this was what Loella picked in the garden!
A flower ring for his peace offering!
She had mixed emotions right now.
She looked at Clerivan's face like he was observing her reaction about the flower he gave to her.
Since she does not speak he assumed that she did not like the ring he gave which was the opposite.
She likes the flower ring!
Although the flower was originally from Loella, it is Clerivan who gave it to her!
Her first flower ring!
She couldn't contain the joy she was feeling right now!
Someone gave her a flower ring!
Her cheeks blushed and her face became hot.
She feared that she might have crushed the flower, so she decided to keep it in a safe place.
She pulled her handkerchief and put the flower inside of it.
While she was busy keeping the flower safe.
She noticed an intense gaze from someone.
It is from Clerivan!
Did he see her keeping the flower?
Why is he staring at her?
Does he want to take the flower back?
If he does, she will not hand it to him since he already gave it to her.
There was no chance that she would give it back to him so she made an eye to eye to him to send the signal that the flower is hers and avoided his gaze.
The maids have arrived and put the additional plates on the table.
They began eating the food.
After eating and taking a little rest.
Shenaira stood up and walked towards the red flowers that were blooming right now in their garden when she felt someone pulling her dress.
It was Justin.
He asked her where she would go and asked if she could bring him too.
He was about to tell more when he was cut by Loella and confront him about what he was planning to do.
His innocent face when he asked her was now gone and turned into a cold face.
She was surprised too about the sudden mood of Justin.
She saw Clerivan walking towards them.
He apologized and explained that Justin was a bit clingy since he lacks affection from their mother who died while giving birth to him.
She nodded her head showing him that she understands his behavior.
She threw some sympathetic glances at him.
It must be hard for him to see other families with complete members of it including their mothers.
She looks at Clerivan's eyes and sees his gentle gaze at his brother.
Unlike Justin, he was lucky that he had their mother when he was born and was raised for two years.
He was able to feel her embrace, her kiss, her hug and affections.
So Clerivan always makes sure to give his best to treat and love his only brother.
They both watched Loella and Justin teased each other like cats and dogs.
Shenaira thought that it was her responsibility to give the three a tour to the lake in the palace.
They might like that lake since it was really beautiful.
They even have a boat if they want to ride it.
She called Clerivan, Loella and Justin and explained to them that they will have a picnic in the lake later in the afternoon do they need to go back to the palace first to take a shower.
So they go back to the palace. While they were inside the palace.
She told them the history of the Beltranville Fairydom, how it began and who their ancestors were.
She only stopped when they reached their rooms.
She called some maids to tend to Loella and help her bath.
She also told Clerivan and Justin to take shower first too and will them later.
She told the three that she will call them later through the maids then she excused herself.
After the three took a bath and changed their clothes into light clothes.
A knock from the maids was heard telling them that they were now called by Shenaira.
Shenaira wore a baby pink dress and had a pigtail designed by her nanny.
On Clerivan's eyes she was so gorgeous, his eyes lit while staring at Shenaira.
This scene by Loella so she pushed Clerivan near Shenaira and whispered to him that he needs to compliment her beauty.
Clerivan began to stammer again but still managed to open his mouth.
"You l-looked l-l-lovely S-Shenaira" he uttered.
Shenaira blushed when she heard his compliment and she glared at Loella who giggled in the corner.
She composed herself after being teased by Loella.
They headed to the place where the lake was.
Upon arriving at the lake.
All of them were mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the lake.
The maid starts to put the blanket in the area where the Cherry Blossom was.
Since it was now the spring season in their fairydom the cherry blossom trees were now in full bloom.
Its petals were color pink and very fragrant.
Its scent was scattered all around the area.
The petals that fell to the lake looked bewitching.
The petals danced in the water whenever a wave was formed and they were swaying together.
The humidity was just right and perfect.
The wind that blows was cool and refreshing.
It makes the mind at ease and relaxed.
The maids called them to gather in the picnic blanket.
They opened the picnic basket and distributed the food one by one.
They eat the food while watching the sunset that reflects in the lake.
The time they spent in the lake was very memorable, after eating they started playing under the Cherry Blossom Tree.
It was memorable to Shenaira since this was the first time she watched the sunset in the lake with her new friends.
She was very happy hoping this would not end.
