Bela's POV
I sat in that conference room staring at The Heartless Alpha. Mentally praying that this would work. That Jade and Sarah could prove the case and that she would win. Every second felt like agony. The Alpha started the meeting.
"I know why you have come," the Alpha began, "but I want to hear it in your own words."
Jade cleared her throat a few times before she looked at me then she looked back at the Alpha. She took a deep breathe and began to speak. The voice that came out almost didn't seem like her own. I liked it.
