Bela's POV
It had been a good evening. Jade did well, very well. It felt good to hear inside my head. I had been waiting for this moment for so long. When we reached our room I could tell she was exhausted. We didn't talk, we just went to bed. I didn't dream that night, maybe it was because of how tired I was as well. It may also have been that I kept waking up for no reason through the night. Jade lay beside me sleeping soundly.
When we awoke in the morning, I could tell Jade was refreshed. I, however, was not. I felt my broken sleep like a hard cage around me. We quickly showered and headed downstairs for breakfast.
