Arora accepted the call immediately. " Yes dad!"

"Aurora, where are you? I have been trying to call you for three hours."

She closed her eyes hearing the worry in his tone.

Her father was always busy but when she didn't accept his call he got scared over the top of the world. Aurora rolled her eyes not understanding why and who he feared this much over not accepting a few calls.

It's not like I am the only one who was a rich man's daughter.

"Dad, chill! I mean calm down." Aurora cursed Susan in her mind. That girl surely changed my polite and beautiful vocabulary into a rich one.

"Aurora Kings, I want you at home in thirty minutes. Do you understand me!!" He shouted and was not waiting for her to speak before ending the call.

"I don't think I am going to like what you will say?" Gabe said, raising his brows.

"Dad ordered me to come home in half an hour. I have to go," She answered with a shrug of her shoulders.

Gabe frowned. Thin lines appeared at the corner of his eyes as if he was in some deep thought. He c****d his head to one side. "Why? Has something happened? I don't like this Aurora. It's like you always keep me at the second place in your life."

Aurora closed her eyes in initation. This topic again. This was the topic of their continuous fighting. He thinks that her dad was going to be the villain in their love story. He would not accept him as his son in law because of his status in society.

"Gabe, my dad is woried about me!" Aurora tried to make him understand knowing very well that she was trying in vain.

He scolded. "Can you sound any more childish Aurora? For God sake why does he worry about you constantly you are not a five year old child who requires a nanny. God damnit." He said standing up from the bed and pinching his nose in anger.

Aurora followed him. "You are stretching this again Gabe. He is my dad, he can worry about me..."

"I too have a family but they don't disturb me every time like your dad. He likes to poke his nose every time we spend some time together."

"You have an uncle Gabe, not a dad. You don't know the love of a father because you don't have one."

Gabe's eyes widened. Aurora smacked her hands to my mouth.

Oh God What have I said!

"Gabe!" She whispered, his eyes turned murderous.

"Get out, Aurora!"

"Gabe, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to..."

"I said get the f**k out of here.." he snapped making Aurora stiffen the violence in his voice. A tear rolled down her cheek at his tone and she ran out from there.

When Aurora reached homw she was a mess. She didn't know what came over her to speak such harsh words to Gabriel. She wiped her tears and did her makeup to hide the tear stains from her cheek before entering her Father's home.

One glance at her face and he father would go haywire to know the reason behind her tears. She wanted to tell him about her relationship with Gaberial but today was not just the right day. She wouldn't be able to handle the questions. She was emotionally drained. She wanted nothing else but to cry her heart out inside the security of her room where no one would disturb her.

Aurora swallowed the heaviness and knocked on her father's office. "Enter" Aurora took one long breath and entered. "You called for me dad?" She said walking to his chair.

"My love" he stood up, held her face in his hands affectionately.

"Aurora, did you cry, love?" He inquired.

"No, why would I dad?" She answered immediately, not wanting him to catch her lie."I was awake the whole night, dad, so they might be a little swollen."

He nodded, "Come sit with daddy for some time, love."

Aurora frowned. "Dad, is everything alright? Are you alright?" She asked him in a worrisome tone.

Once again her father nodded. She knew then that something was wrong Dad?

"Love, Daddy has a question for you, will you answer me truthfully?"

Aurora searched his eyes, She could see the sadness in them. She had seen it once before, on the day of her mother's funeral. She didn't recall much of the day they had that car crash only bits and pieces but the painful memory of her father's sad eyes was still stuck in her mind and she could do anything to take the pain away from them. Anything.

"Yes, daddy" she whispered, calling him daddy just like she used to do when She was a child.

Ethan held her small hand into his and patted it softly. "Love, will you accept your father's decision, even if you don't like it for the sake of my sanity and your protection, Will you do as I ask you to do?" He asked her.

Aurora understood at once that her father was worried about her safety again. She knew he would ask her to take guards with her they had this talk multiple times and every time she refused to take guards. She didn't want men to follow her everywhere, She had her friends for that but today she was ready to accept it just to make her father Smile because he never looked this sad before they had this talk.

"Yes, I will accept whatever you asked me to do, dad. Happy?"

Ethan's lips pulled into a wide smile. "You made me a very happy man today, my love."

She hugged her dad, needing his protective warmth around her. "I love you, dad"

Ethan closed his eyes with a deep sigh. I won't allow any harm to come your way, my angel. I will do anything to keep you safe. Thank you for accepting my decision for your marriage.
