I didn’t even get to finish seeing how Vi and Lulu’s emotional outburst ended before Enz dragged me up here— to the rooftop of one of the school buildings.
Still can’t tell what Caspian said to convince him, but here I am.
“b***h, better be on your best behaviour,” Enz said, straightening my tie like he was sending me off for marriage or something.
Then he shoved me in, and bam…door shut, music blasting.
A damn boy band stood in formation, Caspian in the centre like some pop prince.
And in front of me? A table.
A freaking meal table with an “I’m sorry” cake.. white, strawberry, too cute for my mood.
I sat down, pretending not to care while they started their performance.
Caspian singing, smirking, giving me that stupid look like he knew I was already melting inside.
