I replayed the damn voice note again… the apology one for Landon.
Still sounded awkward, like I was trying too hard.
It’s been, what, three hours since that incoming call?

Translation: It's urgent.

Yeah, sure. Look at me now…the chillest chaotic mess on the planet.
In the past three hours, I’ve done two heroic things to save face from whatever that imposter was doing with my image.
First, FaceTime with Lulu’s parents.
They scolded me, obviously…but there was relief on their faces too.
Guess I’m still their favourite goddaughter after all.
Still, what if they find out the truth?
