As Anton spent his afternoon planning his night-time sojourn, at the headquarters of the Sureté a meeting took place between the Deputy Commissioner of the Paris police and Doctor Henri de la Croix, a respected expert in the field of serial killer profiling. Between them, they hoped to identify something, anything, which might help the police in their search for the killer whose crimes continued to terrorise the population of the city.
