Second chances

Chapter 2

It was her first day at West highschool and she hated being new since everyone was staring at her.She went to the administration block waiting for someone to show her around. At last a tall slim woman approached her and she stood to show courtesy.

"Hi am miss Brooks and you must be Adriana."

"Yes am her."

"Welcome to West highschool.Am going to take you to your class and introduce you then am going to appoint someone to show you around."

"Thanks miss Brooks."

"Okay come along."

The class like all other classes was huge and elegant but it was expected since it was a prestigious school. Wow!It had lots of cute boys.

"Morning class,this is Adriana Willa.She is new and i hope you will make her stay here memorable. Now i need someone to volunteer to show her around after classes."

"I'll do it since she's my namey," a deep voice said making Adriana turn to him.God he was so handsome with his deep voice ,long dark hair and his plump pink lips."Hey if you're done checking me out come sit next to me,"he said winking.

Adriana blushed a little and knew this is trouble in itself but she couldn't resist it she went and sat next to him.Sge noticed almost all girls throwing daggers at her making her realise she got to keep her guard up.

"Please Adrian be nice to her and Adrianna,if you have a problem come to my office anytime."

"Thanks miss Brooks."

Immediately she left , Adriana noticed Adrian intently looking at her."Is something on my face?"

"Nothing you just resemble someone i used to know."

"So i have a doppleganger,"she said laughing..

"Maybe ,too bad you're not her,"he said looking away.Before she could ask what he meant the chemistry teacher already was in class and was already lecturing.Adrian just ignored the teacher, took out his phone which was prohibited and started scrolling through his i********: account.He is really something.

During lunch break he ditched her,"So much for showing me around," she sighed.

"Hey am Jenna and we take chemistry together though maybe we share lots of classes together.Am so excited to be your friend.Ooh i haven't asked.Will you be my friend?"

"Of course Jenna ,am glad you asked,"Adriana said laughing since she thought she would be stranded on her first day.

"Come let's go have lunch am famished."She dragged Adriana all the way to her table where there was a blonde handsome guy who beamed when she saw Jenna.

"Adriana meet Ricky ,Ricky Adriana.Now we three will be best of friends."

"Nice to meet you Adriana . Now we'll call you Dri since your name is so long,"he said making us all laugh drawing attention to us.

"Wow look who's coming this way,the asshole who ditched you."

"Hey Jenna don't cause a scene,"Dri told her hating the attention.

Adrian came and snatched her arm dragging her away from the table."Hey asshole where are you taking me?"

"You're coming with me since you're my responsibility and is too early for you to start hitting on boys around here."

He sounded angry,the nerve of him, she thought."Would you please let go of my arm you're hurting me," He let go,took her arm and rubbed it softly where he had held her tightly.

"Am sorry. Come let's have lunch now." He took her to his table where he was with his boys and a dark haired beautiful girl who was glaring at her.He ordered food for her and forced her to eat.

Since she was hungry she didn't argue with him but she was fuming with anger which she would unleash on him later on, she promised herself.
