Day 3 – Evening Elara walked nervously toward Kael’s friend’s house, her tight white top and fitted blue pants clinging to her as she moved. Her heart raced with every step, anticipation and fear twisting together. From there, she made her way to the hotel, the echo of her footsteps on the marble floor amplifying her anxiety. As she approached a side room, muffled sounds reached her ears. Curiosity mingled with dread. Peeking inside, she saw women, their names whispered in the air, tied with ropes. She inhaled sharply, then exhaled, taking deep, trembling breaths as the icy chill mingled with her nervousness. “How do you feel?” Kael asked, his voice steady and observant. “Calm…” she murmured softly, surprise and disbelief lacing her words. Kael’s eyes flicked toward the window. “See… the women outside are here to find calm. That’s what this is about.” He handed her a tissue. “Dry yourself.” She wiped the water from her skin, her hands shaking, then redressed herself, pulling her top back on. Finally, he handed her a note with a time for the next day. She tucked it carefully into her pocket, her mind still swirling with the strange mixture of fear, curiosity, and an inexplicable sense of calm that the evening had brought
