They are losing. Dianna knows, as her life is getting sucked out of her body that they are hopelessly losing this war that they are greatly outnumbered on. Their goal was to get to the castle in time, to get the Queen’s army backing us up, but now it is hundreds of vampiresses and Niklas against us all. Dianna notices with teary eyes the numbers that are already depleting before her eyes. Kenna is unconscious on the floor beside her fiancée’s feet as he fights to keep them both alive against too many vampires. Seraphina is fighting around fifty girls all on her own, and although she is killing most of them with ease the numbers are adding up on her. Kamren has an additional fifty girls he is fighting against, and just like Seraphina he is getting worn out from the war. Dianna tried
